Alright, that's cool. I didn't know what you meant by right. I take it to mean Constitution-supporting.

@Rorschach65
Whaaaa? Why would I say anyone for those things you list was a dumbass? There are plenty of people on the right who ARE NOT for those things. They may say they are, but they most certainly aren't. The bulk of the domestic police state now in place, dept. of homeland security, domestic military operations called Northcom (illegal), and on and on was put into place by the so-called right, conservatives. Massive expansion of government power and control.

@TPOCS
Be specific. You mean people who are for Constitutionally limited government, private property rights, and liberty are dumbasses? Perhaps you can enlighten me.
TPOCS (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@Rorschach65
Why isolate the dumbasses to just one category. They are all over the spectrum. Plenty on the dumbass right as well. PLENTY.

Wake up, you dumbass leftists. I am advanced in a Phd. program in Political Science, with specialization in International Relations, and a prior Master's in Russian, East European, and Eurasian studies, and I vouch for everything Bezmenov says here.

If I have no understanding the these forms of control I have no understanding of the Constitution. Whaaa? My critical thinking skills are just fine. I'm tired or talking to you now.
basedrop (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@TPOCS If you don't care about the philosophy behind these forms of control you'll have no grasp of the constitution. Learn the difference between positive and negative liberty so at least you know which side of the coin you come down on. Your posts are fear based and reactionary. If you have real concern for your personal liberty you wouldn't be playing right into their (elites) design of producing a population without critic thinking skills.

We do not have a representational democracy. And we were never supposed to. We are supposed to have a Constitutional Republic. I don't really care about the nuances or philosophical differences between corrupt government structures. All I care about is regaining some semblance of our Constitutional Republic. Ideally we should revert back to the Articles of Confederation, which have never been repealed. They restricted the Federal government even more.
basedrop (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@TPOCS There is a fundamental philosophical difference between a corrupt representational democracy and a corrupt totalitarian government, and no they do not have the same effects on the societies they administer. This is good resource to understand the differences in these corruptions and their effects on the population they "serve" : econtalk.org/archives/2007/02/bruce_bueno_de.html

What the hell do you think is happening here? The same kind of insane economic policies and automatic form of government is in place here. We do not have the form of government everyone thinks we have. The are a bunch of cronies exactly like in Russia, beholding to only those who corrupt the whole system. Haven’t you noticed they can do screw us as badly as they want and still remain if office? We have a higher retention rate in Congress than Russia had. |
